Alex Iskold Is a Founder and a Partner at 2048 Ventures. He is a 5x founder, a software engineer, and an investor. Alex writes one of the top startup blogs called Startup Hacks.
Prior to founding 2048 ventures, Alex spent 5 years at Techstars as the Managing Director the New York City program. Before that he was a founder and CEO of Info Lab (acquired by IBM), founder and CEO of GetGlue (backed by USV, RRE, Time Warner), and a Chief Architect of distributed computing startup DataSynapse (acquired by TIBCO).
Alex currently is a VC in Residence at the Harvard Business School and member of the Board at NYU Entrepreneurship. He holds a B.S. in Math with Honors from Lehigh University and M.S. in Computer Science from NYU.

Zann Ali is a Partner at 2048 Ventures. Prior to 2048 Ventures, Zann was at Putnam Investments, where he worked with the Chief Investment and Operating Officers on investments and special projects. Before Putnam, Zann spent four years at Fidelity Investments, first with the company’s internal strategy team and then with Fidelity Health, an insure-tech startup that he helped launch.
Zann holds a B.S. in Statistics & Finance with Honors from Babson College and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. At MIT, Zann was a pre-seed investor with Dorm Room Fund, where he was fortunate to support and invest in 20+ student-founded startups. He also served on the teaching team for MIT’s Entrepreneurial Finance & Venture Capital course.

Julie Wolf is a Partner at 2048 Ventures, where she leads biotech and healthcare verticals. She is an investor in more than 50 startups, and is interested in platform technologies and founders transforming human health.
Before 2048 ventures, Julie was Chief Science Officer and a member of the founding investment team at SOSV’s IndieBio New York. Prior to entering her investment career she worked in scientific research, communications, and biotech entrepreneurship. She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Cancer Biology from the University of Minnesota and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Daniella Cohen is a Principal at 2048 Ventures. Prior to 2048 Ventures, she was a managing partner at Rough Draft Ventures where she invested in student founders across the country.
She was a summer associate at Techstars NYC and joined the portfolio company, The Clear Cut (DTC diamond startup) as their Head of Content while the company grew over 100% year-over-year. She also took time off from college to work on social and emotional learning projects at Facebook as the youngest person at the company.
Daniella holds a B.A. in Neuroscience from Princeton University where she led Princeton Women in Entrepreneurship and continues to serve on the board for the Princeton Prize in Race Relations.

Sandra is a Senior Associate at 2048 Ventures. Prior to 2048 Ventures, Sandra was part of the founding leadership team at Nucleate New York, served as a fellow with the Business Development team at NYU Technology Opportunities and Ventures, and helped launch a therapeutics startup during her postdoctoral fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
She has a decade of experience in translational immunology and molecular biology research and holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biosciences from the Autonomous University of Madrid, an M.S. in Immunology from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a B.S. in Biotechnology from the University of Salamanca, Spain.

Edward is an Associate at 2048 Ventures. Prior to joining the firm, he invested in student-founded startups across the country at both Crescent Fund and Dorm Room Fund, and helped grow Discipulus Ventures, a hardtech fund in El Segundo. He also spent time at Spero Ventures, where he researched early-stage companies in energy, manufacturing, and robotics.
Before venture, Edward held product roles at Fileread, a legaltech startup in New York, and Armada, an edge computing startup in Seattle, where he helped ship internal tooling and analytics. He holds a B.S. in Mathematics–Computer Science and Business Economics from the University of California, San Diego.

Justine is the VP of Finance & Operations at 2048 Ventures. Prior to joining 2048 Ventures, she honed her expertise in the startup ecosystem by launching and overseeing the Techstars Montréal AI accelerator program. Over four successful cohorts, she was responsible for program operations and worked closely with founders to provide tailored support and foster innovation. She also remains actively engaged in the broader ecosystem, contributing as a jury member for various evaluation committees and grant programs dedicated to supporting startups and deep-tech initiatives.
Over the past few years, she has contributed to impactful missions like the 1k Project for Ukraine, led product and data management efforts at Choose Love, and helped develop the operational backbone of the AgeTech Investor Network at AgeTech Capital.
Justine holds a Master Degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the INSEEC School of Business and Economics in Bordeaux, France.

Colette an Operations Associate at 2048 Ventures. Prior to joining 2048 Ventures, she worked on multiple research projects with the McGill Desautels Faculty of Management, examining the intersection of sustainability, business, and development in collaboration with SMEs, public institutions, and academic stakeholders. During this time, she also held student leadership roles on campus, managing a team of writers for the university’s leading business newspaper and overseeing event logistics for student-led initiatives.
Previously, Colette held roles at Dōpu, a specialty coffee startup in Paris, where she developed and pitched a multi-year business plan, and at Digitad, a digital marketing agency in Montreal. She holds a B.A. in Economics and International Development from McGill University.
