This Era of Drug Development

Patient data plays a crucial role in shaping the future of drug development and it comes in all shapes and sizes: ranging from clinical trial data to real-world data (RWD) like medical records data from electronic health records (EHRs), laboratory tests, and patient registries.

Because data sources are fragmented and non-standardized, RWD has been previously difficult to access. RWD provides critical insights into how drugs perform in real life. Its inclusion in the drug development and commercialization lifecycle ultimately leads to more rapid patient access to safe and effective treatments.

Led by a Team with Deep Subject Matter Expertise

We were introduced to the Century Health team by our friend Jenny Fielding from Everywhere Ventures and impressed with how well-researched and networked the team was. Century Health is led by Vish Srivastava (CEO) and Sanjay Hariharan (CTO), who are motivated by direct experience with the problem space and are both mission driven to pave the future of data in the life sciences.

Vish is a product healthcare leader with experience working directly in this space through his work at BCG and as a Director of Product Management at Evidation Health. He recognized biopharma’s need for rich data and teamed up with an old friend and technical healthcare data expert, Sanjay.

Sanjay has spent 10 years in healthcare analytics, with a strong technical career and pedigree. His experience at Epic and as a healthcare focused Principal Data Scientist at McKinsey QuantumBlack are extremely relevant to his work at Century Health.

A New Century of Healthcare Data

Century Health accelerates drug development and commercialization by applying AI to longitudinal clinical data previously untapped by pharmaceutical companies. By partnering directly with researchers that maintain observational studies and patient registries, Century Health is creating a win-win and unlocking a new era of drug development and privacy-protecting patient data exchange.

Century Health provides a powerful interface that contains cleaned-up, aggregated, and interpretable information across patient registries, enabling access to RWE for use cases across the life sciences ecosystem.
